My layover in Guayaquil, Ecuador left a lasting mark on me. A large part of what made this layover unforgettable was Victor, a true friend to our flight attendant family. He took the time to show me the heart of his city, guiding me through its beautiful park filled with native animals and along the waterfront that showcases Guayaquil’s spirit so well. His knowledge seemed endless, and he shared the history of the town with a pride that was both admirable and heartfelt. With him leading the way, the visit became far more than a quick stop—it became a meaningful experience filled with insight and connection.
