My stay in Santo Domingo was brief, but the city made a strong impression. Even on a fast layover, you can feel the history and spirit of the place the moment you step into town. The old streets, the colonial architecture, and the lively rhythm of daily life all speak to a city with deep roots and a proud culture. There’s a richness in the air — a blend of tradition, warmth, and resilience. Though the time was short, Santo Domingo left me with a sense of appreciation for its beauty and the character that defines it. It’s a place that stays with you, even after a quick visit.
